Description

Set on the hottest day of the Summer in 1935, the character of thirteen-year-old Briony Tallis encounters her sister strip off her clothes and plunge into the fountain, located in the garden of their country house. Also watching her is Robbie Turner, who like Cecilia, has also recently come down from Cambridge.

But as the day progresses to it’s ending, the lives of all three of them has been transformed forever due to the actions Briony took in committing a crime which she will spend the rest of her life trying to atone for the mistake she made…
